How it works
From your free measure-up to the finished fit: what happens, and when you pay.
Four steps
From tape measure to finished fit
-
Free measure-up
Book a visit on our booking page at a time that suits you. We come to your home, measure the space, check the walls and floor, and talk through what you would like.
-
Your price
You get a written price for the work, with the materials and the finish set out in full. Take your time over it.
-
Secure your start date
Happy with the price? Choose your start date on the booking page and pay the deposit online to hold it.
-
Made and fitted
We make and fit your piece from the agreed date, and talk you through it when it is done.
Your deposit and start date
When you have your price and want to go ahead, you can book your start date on our booking page. Choose “Secure your start date”, pick the day, and pay the deposit online by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
The deposit holds that date for you and is part of the agreed price, not an extra. We check the date and confirm your booking by email. Everything else about the job, including when the rest is paid, is set out with your quote.
Questions
About booking and paying
Is the measure-up really free?
Yes. It costs nothing to book and nothing on the day.
Can I book a start date before I have a price?
The start date booking is for work we have already priced for you. Book a free measure-up first, and once you are happy with the quote you can choose your date.
Is my card payment safe?
The deposit is paid on Stripe’s secure checkout page. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us or to this website.
What should I do before the measure-up?
Clear enough space to get at the walls, and think about what you want to store. Our guide on getting ready for a measure-up has a short checklist.
