Doors that close properly
A new door rarely drops straight into an old frame. Fitting one well means trimming it to the opening, cutting in the hinges and the latch, and hanging it so the gap is even all the way round.
We hang new internal doors, ease and re-hang doors that stick or swing open on their own, and fit handles, hinges and latches.
- New internal doors hung and fitted
- Doors trimmed to clear new flooring
- Handles, hinges and latches fitted
- Sticking doors eased and re-hung
Questions
What people ask
Will a new door fit my old frame?
Most of the time, yes. Doors come in standard sizes and are trimmed to fit, but some older frames need more work. We will tell you at the measure-up.
My new carpet has stopped the door closing. Can you help?
Yes. The door can be taken off, trimmed at the bottom to clear the new floor and re-hung.
